 The St. Charles County Election Office is in need of election judges to work at the 121 polling places within St. Charles County.  To qualify to become an election judge you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a registered voter in St. Charles County
  • You must declare your political party preference
  • You must be able to speak, read and write English
  • You must be of good repute and character
  • You must be able to assist in setting up the polling place

The pay for regular judges is $120.00, $150.00 for supervisory position, $120.00 for cell phone/palm pilot clerks and $130.00 for Touch Screen clerks.  Training will be an additional $30.00.  When you work on Election Day, you will be expected to work from 5:15 a.m. through 7:00 p.m.
